Senexet House is a Victorian "cottage," used originally as a country home. It has been converted into a commodious year-round retreat center. PHOTOS
The living room, with its lovely fireplace, is inviting and conducive to conversations and sharing. There is ample room for large groups to meet comfortably. A cozy library adjoins the living room on one side, and a chapel graces the other side. A large, bright dining room is the setting for meals. A screened porch gives a view of peaceful Roseland Lake. The food is excellent with vegetarian alternatives always available.
There are 11 bedrooms which vary in size. They contain two to five beds each. There are ample toilet, shower and bathing facilities.
Surrounding Senexet House are 11 acres of pine forest, which offers an opportunity to enjoy peace and tranquility. Quiet walks, inspirational views and the feeling of closeness to nature will uplift the retreatant. There is an outdoor chapel for services and a grassy field for sports and games.
